Search Settings

To access the Search Settings page, users with the appropriate permissions (Tenants only) can navigate to 'Settings' from the main navigation menu and select 'Search'.

Forwarding Options

Administrators can control whether users can forward messages from search results to their inbox. When enabled, users can forward messages using different methods: standard forward, inline forward, or as a zipped attachment. Options include:

· Standard Forward: Allows forwarding of emails as full messages. · Inline Forward: Inserts the message content directly into the body of a new email. · Zipped then Attached: Forwards messages as a compressed archive.

· Forwarding restrictions, such as limiting it to registered domains.

Restore Options

The restore feature enables users to retrieve messages from the archive and restore them to their inbox. Admins can configure the restore folder and set limits for basic and privileged users.

Search Interface Configuration

Admins can configure search behaviour by setting default limits on search results, exports, and print functions. These settings ensure efficient system performance while meeting compliance needs.

· Default Search Results Per Page: Controls pagination size. · Default Print Result Limit: Sets a limit on printed search results. · Default Export Limit: Defines how many messages can be exported at once. · Deduplicate Search Results: Removes duplicate emails from search results. · Make BCC Search Optional: Enables administrators to allow BCC searches.
