# Exchange Online Mailflow Connector

#### Step-by-Step Instructions: <a href="#step-by-step-instructions" id="step-by-step-instructions"></a>

1. **Log in as an Admin** to the O365 Exchange Admin Centre ([admin.exchange.microsoft.com](http://admin.exchange.microsoft.com/)).
2. **Navigate to Message Flow > Connectors**.

3. **Set Up the Connector**:
   * **From**: Office 365.
   * **To**: Partner Organization.
4. **Name the Connector**: YOUR ARCHIVE Connector.
5. **Scope the Connector**:
   * Select "Only when email messages are sent to these domains".
   * Enter the domain as `yourarchive.cloud`.
6. **Route the Connector**:
   * Select "Route Email Through These Hosts".
   * Depending on the region, use the appropriate host:
     * Region: `smtp.region.yourarchive.cloud`
7. **Set TLS Settings / Security restrictions**:
   * Select "Always use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure the connection (recommended)".
   * Ensure the certificate is issued by a trusted Certificate Authority (CA).
   * Enter `smtp.region.yourarchive.cloud` for the SAN (Subject Alternative Name) validation.
8. **Validate the Connector**:
   * Use the journaling email (e.g., `companytag@yourarchive.cloud`) to validate the connection.
