# User Setup

Once you have progressed through the onboarding, you will be asked to setup your archive's data guardian and privileged users. If you don't know what these are, we have a handy description below:

{% hint style="info" %}

#### Privileged & Delete User

Privileged & Delete users are privileged users who also have permissions to delete the emails. A Privilege & Delete user type has the ability to authorise a deletion request. This account type will only become available if you have a license to use it. In all other respects, this account type is the same as a standard Privilege account.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}

#### Required - Data Guardian

A Data Guardian is, in **Solar Archive**, an email address to which transcripts of administrator access and privileged user searches will be sent. At least one data guardian must be added, before adding any local user accounts.

**Note:** For versions 9.0.2 and above, different guardians for each of administrative or privilege usage audit transcripts can be specified.
{% endhint %}

### Selecting Data Guardian Users

You will be presented with a list of users to select as data guardians. If the desired user is not in the list, simply click the "Add User" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

* Select the user you want to appoint as the data guardian.
* Click "Add User" if the user is not on the list.

{% hint style="info" %}
Data Guardians can also be outside your organisation such as a law firm or a legal entity.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
One Data Guardian must always be assigned to your archive.
{% endhint %}

You will be presented with a list of users to select as privileged users. If the desired user is not in the list, simply click the "Add User" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.

* Select the user you want to appoint as privileged users.
* Click Add User if the user isn't present in the list.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.solar-archive.com/docs/quick-start/automated-onboarding/user-setup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
